OUR COMMITMENT

At Abel, we engineer and machine the highest quality fly fishing products in the world. We back it up by providing the best possible service and support. Our commitment is to keep customers in the Abel family for life. No matter what the circumstances, we'll work to make it right.

For the original owner of an authentic Abel® products, we provide an industry leading lifetime warranty.* For all warranty and repair service, we use the the same Product Service Form below. You can either submit this yourself, or through an Authorized Dealer.

 

 

WARRANTY

Abel® products carry a lifetime warranty that covers the repair or replacement of parts due to defect in material or workmanship.

*Our warranty is valid for the original owner only, i.e., it is not transferable and is in effect only for products purchased through an Authorized Abel Dealer. Abel will determine if the product is covered under this warranty due to faulty material or workmanship. Parts for older or discontinued models may be replaced with parts for current models. Colors may vary between original and replacement parts. eBay® and any other similar auction or discount arenas do not carry any warranty.

For repairs not covered by the warranty, a quote will be provided upon request for approval before proceeding with any repair(s).

NOTE: Please follow the directions on the form. Your Abel® product is carefully inspected, one at a time, by an expert. All product service fees go towards product inspection, diagnosis of components, cleaning, lubing, and returning to factory specifications. Return ground shipping via UPS® or FedEX® is also included.

Normal turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from receipt. Upon receipt, Abel will inspect your reel and determine whether your case qualifies under our warranty. For repairs not covered by the warranty, a quote will be provided for approval before proceeding with any repair(s).

 

 

HELPFUL TIP: We always recommend registering your product upon each purchase, or prior to any warranty or repair submission.

AM I COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

We get this question often. Our products are designed to be utilized in the harshest conditions on the planet. We stand behind them 100%. A reel that’s structurally compromised after flying off of an unsecured roof rack at 70 MPH is not covered by warranty, neither is damage from falling out of your boat, or being pitched off a cliff. Rest assured that we will still work out a fair plan with you to get you back on the water with your Abel® products when unforeseen events cause unusual issues.
