Anti/Reverse
InterchangeABEL
Abel Anti/Reverse Reels are lightweight, utilize a unique ball bearing design, and have fewer moving parts than our competitors. Unlike a traditional single action fly reel, on an anti/reverse reel the handle does not turn when a fish takes line out. Result: no more cracked knuckles, snagged sweaters or words junior isn't supposed to hear. Each A/R reel comes with its own finger wrench for removing the spool. More info. . . |

Trout Series
We Heard You!
Since discontinuing our Trout Series (TR) reels we have heard from countless fly-fishers bemoaning the loss of this simple, elegant, classic reel – round ventilation holes, adjustable click, easily converted from left- to right-hand retrieve.
Trout Series (TR) reels are not in our 2008 catalog. They are available now . . . just in time for the ’08 trout season.
